There's also a small playground. A minor drawback is that you sometimes have to wait a bit for a coffee order, and card payments aren't accepted. ”

They also serve breakfast, homemade soups, and coffee/cake. Service, etc., is very good. Not too expensive. Prices are really OK. ”

“ As we finished our trip toward the Elbe Valley, we visited this café. The ambiance is somewhat hidden in a side street, but recognizable by the signs and banners along the street. The interior, accessible for wheelchair users, beckons with a retro style, unlike typical cafés. The ambiance is lovingly designed and presents itself like a second home. The cakes and pastries on offer are all homemade, including lactose-free ones. The ladies there are extremely friendly, customer-oriented, and know how to present their craft with love. I particularly like that dogs are allowed here. We met several owners with their four-legged friends, who were all relaxed after a short barking session. We would happily visit this café again and can recommend it to anyone looking for something special. ”

“ A lovely café with plenty of outdoor seating in the front and back garden. You order at the counter, where the delicious cakes are also displayed. You then receive a numbered pennant for your table, and your order arrives a few minutes later. You pay at the counter before leaving. There are a few play structures in the garden for small children. ”

Since we've just taken another trip to Bleckede and the weather was so great, we wanted to come back, this time with the whole family (we came with 8 people). Unfortunately, the garden was closed, despite the great weather over the weekend. Service: "If I open the door, it'll be cold inside." Okay, so we're perfectly capable of closing a door behind us. Especially since the waitress told us to come to the counter to order anyway. We had to leave without having done anything and instead went to the castle to enjoy coffee and cake. Here, we were even served outside. So, it all depends on the service. Maybe they were just having a bad day. We'll try again next year. ”
